The list below is of of naval POWs who were landed in the U.S. and interrogated by U.S. Navy Intelligence Officers.   It is not a complete list of U-boat POWs or of U-boats or naval vessels sunk by the U.S. Navy.  For example, U-175 was sunk by U.S. forces but the survivors were landed in the U.K. and interrogated by British Naval Intelligence Officers.  They were later sent to the United States for permanent internment.  U-505 POWs are also not included.

The number and date columns refers to the order and date that the U-boat or surface ship was sunk.
