MINE TERMS AND MARKINGS IN USE.  BUT WHOSE MEANINGS ARE NOT YET KNOWN
     
A t b   Occur on Hydrostatic Clocks, Marks III and IV.
AX   On the shells of many parachute mines, generally with the number of the mine stencilled over the AX
I, III, etc, in large Roman numerals stenciled on Type C mines.   III, II and I certainly have been found XI is believed to exist
F A B   Used in conjunction with L M B.  Suppositions are that it may refer to either:-
    (1)  The explosive charge;
           "Aluminum" = Aluminium.
           Fullpulver = Charge.
    (2)  The parachute;
           "Fallschirm" = Parachute
G   Has been found roughly stenciled in white paint on the tail fin of four Type "C" mines.  Note:  Type "G" is the British mane for this mine.
T P   Also has connection with L M B, and may make mines difficult to sweep.  Supposition T P may mean "Tage ---?" a Day Setting
    Two Green Discs on Type "G" Have ofccurred in two places on the charge case of three Type "G" mines.
