Air-pressure regulators and main air valves for the engine - these components were hanging from the tube seen in the aft view of the torpedo mid body - normally they were attached to the engine and part of the aft section of the torpedo

The speed-regulator (controls the flow of water, fuel and oil to the engine) - was attached to the part above
