  All non-snorkel boats in the Bay of Biscay, in addition "Sammler" and U-292, return immediately to Biscay bases.  To Lorient go, "Sitek", "Hilbig", "Otto", "Reisener", "Becker", U-292.  To St. Nazaire:  "Davidson" "Christophersen", "Wolff", "Harms", "Feindt", "Wilke", "Lamby".  La Pallice: "Widuwilt", "Witzendorf", "Schwebke", "Gerken", Sammler".  Escort positioned 14, 15, 16 and 17 June off Lorient 03.00 hours, off Nazaire 01.00 hours, off La Pallice 02.00 hours.  In each case escort remains one hour at convoy intake point and then runs in with the boats met.

  U-boots steer by by the shortest route on the entry route beyond the 100-meter line and attach themselves to one of the 3 convoys established for their return harbor.  No pre notification for convoy meetings, boats that do not reach the escort as a result of time delays, sit silently at sea and attach themselves 24 hours later to the convoy.
