    2)  "Becker" tonight report details concerning "Wanze" failure. 
    3)  "Finke" report position.
     
06.56 0608/30/119 "Becker" transmitted on 54 meters with Volume 5:  Tube 1, W 1 and W 2 burned out.  Ring of light over the entire luminescent screen.  No visual indication.

03.24 1857/12/393 Repeat of "U-123" situation report of 11 October for "Becker".
   

1) On 21 September by day from tanker and Liberty ship convoy average 7000 tons by listening 2 definite, 3 possible hits. Submerged at night because of aircraft.  28 September night air with flares, both in 44.  Position 1723.  Naval square EP.

    2)  Boat suspects that traffic is only in convoys with constant air escort near the 200 meter line or the Great Circle.

    Supplemental:  Norddeich had not picked up 1st and 2nd Short Signal group.
