 The purpose of this website is to share documents and images - not to make a buck.  Once and a while I do projects for others that take me away from research I would otherwise be doing and get paid for the time and effort.  That is what the donate button is for.  The money helps with website and research expenses and, to be perfectly honest, stocks my refrigerator with good Canadian beer. 

I retired from the United States Navy in April 2005 and moved to beautiful Victoria, British Columbia . Click on the photo to view my military biography.
My wife Charla is my partner in the U-boat Archive and I am very grateful for her love and support.  She is an accomplished engineer with a lifelong interest in the U-boat War and submarine technology in particular.  Her family has a long involvement in the design of German Unterseebooten.
