U-boat Kriegstagebücher (KTB)

This project is a collaborative effort.  The records were made available by others and the vast majority of the work to translate and prepare them for presentation on the web was performed by a very talented team.  The administrator is deeply grateful to the following individuals who have contributed their time and expertise to this project.
KTBs were made available by German U-boat historians Rainer Busch and Roland Berr.  Rainer is the author of German U-Boat Commanders of World War II.  Roland is the producer of daily summaries from KTBs of the U-Bootwaffe which are available on the Ubootwaffe.net website.

Translation of the initial KTBs was done by Uboat.net crew member Ranier Kolbicz of Switzerland with editing and other assistance by United States U-boat researcher Ken Dunn.  Other contributors include Christine Hillmann of Brazil, retired Fregattenkapitän Jürgen Meyer-Brenkhof, Jan Kockrow, and Thorsten Bergmann of Germany and Harald Jazdziewski, a native German who now lives in the United States.
